About this programme
Gynaecological brachytherapy is one procedure held by four professions: the oncologist who inserts the applicator, the physicist who verifies the plan, the therapist who reconstructs and delivers, and the nurses, theatre and anaesthetic staff who prepare and care for the patient. This worklist maps twenty-one units across all four, with a Brachy Directive that sets the boundary for every delegated step. It covers HDR intracavitary, hybrid and interstitial treatment, is framed against Australian and New Zealand requirements, and re-credentials on a rolling three-year cycle.
